The public administration sector (OV-AP) is a central point of contact for basic commercial training in the public sector. It actively shapes the future of young professionals in public administration, provides training companies with the necessary framework conditions for basic vocational training and works closely with regional organizations to ensure the quality of training for commercial apprentices. We have therefore developed a new website for OV-AP - more modern, clearer and consistently geared towards the needs of the various user groups.
The new website offers modern user guidance and has been rethought in terms of design. The visual concept is no longer based on the previous brand identity, but relies on strong colors and a recurring, animated pattern that gives the site more dynamism. The result is a fresh and clearly structured website that not only looks good, but also offers various functions. We implemented a full-text search with structured search results so that the many different contents can be found quickly.
The various target groups benefit from a broad catalog of content and functions: A download area with important documents, a comprehensive link directory, stories from learners about their day-to-day training or an interactive zip code search, with which users can find their responsible regional specialist office intuitively, quickly and in a visually appealing way. There is also a comprehensive contact form that allows users to get in touch with the office quickly and directly - for general questions or technical issues relating to specialist applications, for example.
Focus on accessibility
We have designed the new website in accordance with international standards so that it can not only be easily read aloud by screen readers, but can also be fully operated using a keyboard. And because OV-AP is active throughout Switzerland, all content and functions are available in three languages: German, French and Italian. These measures ensure that everyone can benefit from OV-AP's services, regardless of language or individual needs.
