"Gold - A Silent Walk for the Living" is a performative walk that brings together sound, movement, forest and people. It is a project by the artists Kathrin Yvonne Bigler and Christine Hasler. We were able to contribute to this project by designing and developing the website and the audio guide.
The task of realising this listening experience did not require a ready-to-use solution, but rather an individual approach - both in terms of user experience, UI design and development. And we like that! How do I design an immersive listening experience? How do I develop an adaptive colour system? How do we guide the user without keeping them on the device for too long? We have asked ourselves numerous such questions, discussed them together and found solutions.
